Mrs. Morgan Rescues… a Squirrel is the first story in a series created for independent readers ages eight and up. Younger readers may enjoy this book if it is read to them.

Mrs. Morgan lives in Savannah, Georgia. She is a licensed wildlife rehabilitator and rescues and fosters both wild and domestic animals. This story is about a baby squirrel she finds in her back yard that has been abandoned by it’s mother. Mrs. Morgan and her next door neighbor Bree care for the squirrel until it is released back into the wild.
Children will learn what happens when a wild animal is cared for by a human and these stories are meant to encourage compassion and caring towards all animals.
